12/17/2022 0 Comments Lethal league candyman pfp![]() ![]() Real name Hans Insel, Dice eschews the typical weapons of choice for a ping pong paddle that he wields with uncanny force. Overall, the perfect character for those who are willing to sacrifice raw offensive prowess for the ability to dance around your opponent and come up with your own plan. However, it is yet another tool he has to create some distance from the opponent while keeping BP. When it comes to killing potential, it’s unlikely that you’ll be using it for the sole purpose of attacking, at least not without creating a bait out of it or setting up corner glitch situations. It’s not perfect, but it allows for a lot of options, making him a very adaptable character. It’s perfect for very precise interceptive covers, creates a lot of steal potential, helps him reach high balls extraordinarily fast, and allows him to have full control of the air space to ball hog or create complex offensive situations. And his super jump is one of the best movement tools in the game. His fast fall is decently fast, allowing you to abuse verticality, especially when coupled with his super jump. Up is great to punish bad positioning and ball hog down is a good finisher and pretty good for ball hogging his spikes work similarly to his up angle, allowing you to either ball hog further, or to punish incorrect coverage. However, he is perfect when it comes to both ball-hogging and defense. Almost everything he does can be easily covered with either a bunt or double bunts, with a few exceptions. His offensive potential isn’t the highest. If you consider Candyman being on the album cover, or the song sharing his general vibe, AIN’T NOTHIN’ LIKE A FUNKY BEAT by the funky uncle himself, Hideki Naganuma is also apart of these “theme songs”.Dice plays like a rogue with a dagger in most RPGs. ![]() These include Snibbit Blaze, Ordinary Days and Ordinary Days V2 by Klaus Veen. Also, Candyman escaped (or often escapes) his containment in an asylum, sends baseballs flying at other members of the Lethal League at what can be thousands of miles per hour (which, obviously knocks them out), and is… criminally handsome… Object HeadĬandyman’s mutated head resembles a yellow jawbreaker candy, and the eyes on this head almost never look in the same direction, giving the impression of googly eyes.Īlong with his dedicated stage (Room 21), Candyman has multiple songs serving as his “theme”. Lore-wise, the game they play in Lethal League, a more violent, high speed game of baseball, is outlawed by the government. Even in his in-game blurb he is described as “…jazzy, expressive, and crazy.” He also has a straitjacket as an outfit in Blaze. Paired with how wild and looney he acts, that’s gotta imply something’s up with him. In his lore he is even shown to be nearly driven to insanity in Room 21 and the asylum, in an attempt to brainwash him to serve the corrupt government. His home stage is “Room 21” a padded room from a mental asylum. Looks handsome as hell in every single one of his color/skin alts, most of which being in suits. Wears a bowler hat and is a "tap dancing dandy". Most notably, “Have a jawbreaker!” Retro/ Suitguy/ Well-Dressed In Blaze he is able to, when sliding, phase through the walls of the stage to be transported to the opposite side. ![]() Has a mutation that lets him change the chemical composition of objects, or at the very least, the ball he hits. His head never changes its doofy expression, and his eyes are always facing different directions. Is a mutant of some kind, shown by his round, yellow head and abilities. Mystery is added with the small hints provided through Blaze’s story mode. We don't know a lot about the characters in Lethal League as a whole, but Candyman, particularly his backstory, is vague. These include variations 1, 2, and 6 in Lethal League, and Minty Man, Pastel, Licorice, and the DLC skin Saturnus Incognita in Blaze. Probably the closest thing the game has to a genuine mascot.Ī lot of his alts have one or both of these colors. In addition he tends to act on impulse or otherwise very chaotically, for example during Lethal League Blaze’s story mode he hops onto a random subway train and is separated from his friend, Dice, during his monologue. Functions on toon physics, and his whole gameplay style revolves around tripping up your opponents with teleporting the ball all over the place. ![]()
